“Banking sector loans to businesses increased in December, almost as much as in November, by T531 billion to T15.3 trillion,” reads the report of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
According to the document, loans to the population decreased, compared to November, by almost 1.5 times and increased only by T354 billion, amounting to T20.68 trillion as of January 1, 2025.
Overall, loans from the banking sector to the economy in December 2024 increased by T886 billion to T36 trillion.
The loans from the banking sector to the economy in November 2024 increased by T1.066 trillion to T35.1 trillion.
