“On September 13, at about 4.20 pm, after the collapse of the roof slab in the building of the Central Concentration Plant, owned by Kazphosphate LLP, three employees who worked inside the building suffered various injuries. As a result of the incident, a 58-year-old worker died on the spot, ” reports the official Internet source of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched under part 3 of article 156 (violation of labor protection rules) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Labor Inspectorate is also conducting a special inspection.
