Albanian PM blesses newborn Kosovo army’

Almaty. October 19. KazTAG - Kosovo Parliament has on Thursday unanimously approved in principle a package of laws on transition of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) into Army of Kosovo. Following the approval of the three draft laws, the Republic of Kosovo is a step closer of establishing its Army, reports Gazeta Express.
Kosovo state leaders welcomed today’s voting saying that Kosovo Army will strengthen the statehood of Kosovo. Also Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has welcomed today’s voting of Kosovo’s Parliament. Rama posted in his Facebook account a picture of the founder of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Adem Jashari, and another picture of the KSF members, Gazeta Express reports. “Glory to all Kosovo martyrs and blessed be the newborn army of the Republic of Kosovo,” Rama wrote in the caption. The voting of the draft laws on transformation of the KSF into army was boycotted by Serbian MPs in Kosovo Parliament.
