Akimats failed to use all of KZT128 billion allocated for villages improvement

Astana. January 17. KazTAG - Akimats failed to use all the T128 billion allocated for improving the lives of the villagers within a year, said Alibek Kuantirov Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
“128 billion tenge was allocated for the implementation of more than 1,000 projects that were implemented in 577 rural areas in 2022. As of January 1 this year, akimats of the regions have spent 94% of budget funds,” Kuantirov said.
Thus, KZT7.7bn were not used.
The disbursement of funds was low in the Ulytau region, as well as in the Mangystau and West Kazakhstan regions.
For 2019-2022, KZT326 billion was allocated from the republican budget. 334 housing and communal services facilities, 1.2 thousand social facilities and 2.2 thousand transport infrastructure facilities were built and repaired, about 30 thousand jobs were created within the frameworks of the programs.
