Air Astana paid compensation to Zere's mother for not allowing 12-year-old girl on flight

Astana. January 23. KazTAG – Air Astana complied with the court's decision by paying the girl's mother Zere T5 million, including legal costs, without bringing it to compulsory execution, said Danilkhan Shagatayev , lawyer.
“I want to share some good news. The child's mother received T5 million in full by the court's decision, including legal costs. Air Astana fully complied with the court's decision, without bringing it to compulsory execution,” the lawyer said in his Instagram post.
The company offered a payment of T4 million, but the child's mother insisted on full compensation for moral damages. The court decision and administrative fines cost Air Astana T8.69 million.
“This high-profile case became one of the reasons for amending the current legislation on passenger transportation, including the rules within the FlyArystan airline,” said Danilkhan Shagatayev.
KazTAG reported that the court ordered Air Astana to pay the mother of 12-year-old Zere T5 million.
