“Air Astana was fined for a 15-hour flight delay to Aktau. The rights of air passengers were protected by the Mangistau Transport Prosecutor’s Office,” reports the local publication.
The company was brought to administrative responsibility and fined T1,846,000.
Passengers were not provided with a hotel, meals, a mother and child room, or transportation from the airport to the city. This happened on August 12, when passengers were unable to fly from Aktau to Almaty.
