Accreditation of foreign mass media to presidential election opened in Kazakhstan

Astana. April 18. KazTAG - Accreditation of foreign mass media for coverage of the presidential election has been opened in Kazakhstan, reports the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
"Accreditation of mass media for journalists wishing to cover the presidential election in Kazakhstan has opened. The election will take place on June 9 2019," reads the message.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, foreign journalists will be observing the election after getting a certificate of permanent or temporary accreditation issued by the foreign ministry of Kazakhstan.
"The representatives of foreign mass media can be accompanied by one interpreter," said the Ministry.
The accreditation process will be completed on June 3 2019- 5 working days before the election.
“Documents required for accreditation: a covering letter from the editor-in-chief asking for accreditation of a journalist; copy of a valid passport; completed accreditation form; electronic photo 3x4 cm; short biography ", reads the message.
