2620 cases of COVID-19 and pneumonia with signs of CVI recorded in Kazakhstan on May 4-5

Astana.  May 6. KazTAG - 2620 cases of COVID-19 (CVI +) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) have been recorded in Kazakhstan on May 4-5, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to May 5, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 334 812 (2443 over the past day), mortality - 3833 (37 on May 4); from August 1, 2020 to May 5, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 53 299 (177 on May 4), mortality - 823 (six on May 4) ,” said the report.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment 43253 people continue getting treatment for CVI (42 792 CVI + and 461 CVI-), 14 489 patients are in hospitals, and 28 764 patients are at the outpatient level.
“780 patients are in serious condition, 195 patients are in extreme severity, 121 patients are on ventilators,” said the report.
