11,567 cases of COVID-19 and CVI pneumonia recorded on January 15-16

Astana. January 17. KazTAG - 11,567 cases of COVID-19 (CVI+) and pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-) were recorded in Kazakhstan on January 15-16, said the press service of the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to January 16, 2022 CVI +: incidence - 1,061,462 (11,524 over the past day), mortality - 13,081 (four on January 15); from March 10, 2020 to January 11 of the year CVI-: incidence - 84,733 (43 on January 15), mortality - 5237 (two on January 15)," reads the report.
77,474 people (75,856 CVI+ and 1,618 CVI-) continue getting treatment for CVI, 6,986 patients are in hospitals, and 70,488 patients are outpatients.
“275 patients are in serious condition, 82 patients are in a state of extreme severity, 52 patients are on ventilators,” reads the message.
