Tokayev assigns Cabinet to take comprehensive measures for coronavirus prevention

Astana. February 28. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has assigned the Government to take comprehensive measures for protection of people from coronavirus.
"Coronavirus outbreak around the world is gaining threatening scales. The Government has been assigned to take comprehensive measures in order to protect the health of our people without damaging operation of public companies and economic subjects," wrote Tokayev in Twitter.
As it was reported, the coronavirus outbreak started in China in late December 2019. According to the latest data, about 80 000 people have caught the virus, the virus has claimed lives of 2774  people, about 19 000 have recovered.
