Quarantine restrictions to be relaxed from October 6 in Almaty

Almaty. October 5. KazTAG - The quarantine restrictions regime will relaxed from October 6 in Almaty.
“From October 6, theaters have been allowed to operate in Almaty with no more than 50% occupancy of the number of seats (with registration on the infokazakhstan.kz portal), subject to seating arrangements and social distance, as well as ensuring an enhanced sanitary and disinfection regime, uninterrupted operation of ventilation systems and air conditioning systems," said Zhandarbek Bekshin, chief state sanitary doctor of Almaty.
The opening hours have been extended from 10.00 to 00.00 for facilities for the provision of contactless services to the population (car washes, passenger car service stations, tire service stations, repair of household appliances, shoe workshops, dry cleaners, laundries and others).
“Operation of public catering facilities (canteens, coffee shops, cafes and others) located in detached buildings is allowed with an operating time from 5.00 to 00.00 without holding collective events on weekdays, weekends and holidays in compliance with sanitary requirements," reads the statement.
