The employees of the police department in the period from 2016 to 2020 are suspected of "abusing their official powers, illegally wrote off administrative fines of citizens arising in connection with violation of traffic rules."
“Thus, by their illegal actions, they caused damage to the state on an especially large scale in the amount of more than T247 million,” said the report.
