New schemes of embezzlement in LRT ptoject revealed in Nur-Sultan

Astana. October 11. KazTAG - New embezzlement schemes on the construction of the light railway transport have been revealed in Nur-Sultan, reports the anti-corruption service.
"The investigation has revealed new embezzlement schemes. In 2014 Astana LRT concluded an agreement for development of design and estimate studies under write-up value. The state expertise indicated the value of 2.6 bn tenge, LRT concluded the agreement to 4.2 bn tenge, 3 bn tenge have been paid to the contractors. The difference is 412 mln tenge. The funds have been cashed and embezzled with involvement of fake companies. The investigation has revealed the involved officials of the administration of Astana, Astana LRT Ltd and heads of contractor organizations," said the message.
