KPO announces senior management changes

Aksai. April 4. KazTAG - Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) announced two senior management appointments.  Edwin Blom takes over from Renato Maroli as the new General Director, whilst Gennaro Zuccaro steps in as the new Operations Director and Deputy General Director having replaced Andrew Wiper.
“I would like to welcome the new General Director Edwin Blom and Operations Director Gennaro Zuccaro, and wish them great success with their new assignments.  I am confident that the valuable experience and strong leadership that they both have will contribute to the continued success of KPO”, said Renato Maroli.
Edwin Blom has been working for Royal Dutch Shell plc. since 1990.  He has almost 30 years of experience within oil and gas industry including domestic and international assignments in Venezuela, Gabon, Malaysia and Netherlands.
In his most recent assignment Edwin held the position of Vice President HSSE & Social Performance Assurance and Reporting Shell in Hague, Netherlands.
Gennaro Zuccaro has been working for Eni since 2001.  Before taking the current position, he held the post of Operations Manager at Southern District – Val d’Agri, Italy.
Gennaro has a strong technical and managerial background gained across various assets of Eni.
