Kazakhstan and US plan to cooperate in oil, gas and energy fields

Astana. January 17. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met Rick Perry, US Minister of Energy, within the frameworks of his official visit to America, Akorda reports.
"The president indicated the results achieved at the negotiations with US leader Donald Trump. N. Nazarbayev positively estimated cooperation of Kazakhstan and the US in oil and gas field and reported about performance of the projects at Tengiz and Kashagan oil fields," the message reports.
The President indicated the need of capacities expansion by the investors for production processing in Kazakhstan.
He also reported about green energy projects and informed R. Perry about opening of the bank of low enriched uranium.
The US Minister, expressed gratefulness for the meeting and named the key factors for strengthening of investment cooperation.
"The parties shared opinions on further development of bilateral relations in oil, gas and energy fields," the press-service said.
