Independent observers in Almaty claim to hold new presidential election

Almaty. June 14. KazTAG - The independent observers have claimed to hold new presidential election without involvement of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan and Amirzhan Kosanov, candidate from Ult Tagdyry movement.
"I claim to declare the election illegitimate, I claim to recognize Tokayev illegitimate president due to violation of the law on election, I claim the General Prosecutor's Office to open new criminal cases on the facts of falsification, to punish all the culprits and imprison them for four years, because they stole our votes.  I claim new presidential election in Kazakhstan which will not involve Tokayev and Kosanov," said Timur Pochanov, observer.
In turn, another observer- Serik Abishev declared numerous violations in the time of the election.
"A whole army of observers- over 1000 people throughout Kazakhstan was created. By the results of their reports we coordinated our work with several public unions and according to these observations we have revealed numerous violations," he said.
He said the observers had no chance to control the process of candidates registration, filing of documents and the state language exam.
In his words, the observers' desks were located too far so that they could not observe effectively. The hot line of the prosecutor's office was unavailable on the election day.
Among other violations reported by Abishev: no recount of ballots before voting,  ban on audio and video filming by observers, beginning of the counting of votes at 22.00, at 23.00 and even at 00.00, absence of protocols at polling stations in the next two days after the vote, and others.
