Growth rate of mortality from CVI declined in Kazakhstan - Tsoi

Astana.  April 20. KazTAG - The growth rate of mortality from coronavirus infection (CVI) and the incidence of COVID-19 has declined in Kazakhstan, said Alexey Tsoi, Minister of Health.
"The increase in deaths over the past week compared to the previous week has decreased from 22% to 8%,"  said Tsoi.
In addition, the rate of increase in the incidence of COVID-19 has also decreased.
“Since the end of March this year, there has been a worsening of the epidemiological situation, when the weekly incidence increased by 46% compared to the previous week. However, this week compared to the previous week, there has been a tendency to a decrease of the rate of growth of weekly morbidity from 46% from the end of March to 6% over the past week, ” he said.
