Tokayev received Zhakupov

Astana. March 18. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Nurlan Zhakupov , Chairman of the Board of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, reports Akorda.
“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Board of JSC Samruk-Kazyna Nurlan Zhakupov. The head of state was informed about the results of JSC Samruk-Kazyna in 2024 and plans for the upcoming period,” reads the statement,
The President was informed that the average annual revenue growth was 13% from 2021 to 2024.
According to Zhakupov, the group's investment portfolio includes 130 projects worth more than $100 billion. Seven major investment projects are to be completed in 2025, including the construction of second tracks on the Dostyk-Moiynty section, a railway line bypassing Almaty, and a container hub based at the Aktau port.
Tokayev was also presented with data on support for domestic producers in 2024. Contracts worth T1.1 trillion have been concluded with them. There are 10 times more offtake contracts than in 2023.
“The head of state emphasized the importance of continuing work to improve efficiency and increase the value of Samruk-Kazyna JSC's assets. According to him, special attention should be paid to priority infrastructure projects, the high-quality implementation of which directly affects the future of the national economy,” Akorda added.
